Star Wars Rebels

Post by bangs-cutter » 10 Mar 2018, 00:41

Anyone here watch Star Wars Rebels?

One of the female characters - Sabine Wren - sports a long pixie style, with colours changing each season. Then, in the finale episode her hair is a short pixie.

I have a feeling the character designer for Sabine Wren is "one of us". Or am I reading too much into it, due to my bias?
It's not "just" a bang cut! I'm a sucker for bang chops!

I haven't been watching the show but I've been following it closely enough to be pleasantly surprised by this. I feel like a lot of visual media is starting to feel a bit less coy about presenting short hair on women (as in, anything other then a bob)
Would anyone else be up for some kind of cartoon/comics thread like the comics thread that is currently buried?

A friend of mine, for a while, styled her hair after Sabine's looks... it was not a bad notion on her part.

My first cartoon pixie loves will always be Lady J on G.I. Joe and the main female protagonist on "Galaxy High," who went from a curly bob (I think? Been decades since I saw it...) to a pixie in the very first episode.

That has to be the worst bar band ever. No wonder everyone there is in a bad mood.
