Re: Coronavirus Thread

Sorry for my bad English, but I can't think straight at the moment. I don't know around the world, but here in Brazil it seems that somehow hospitals profit from the misfortunes of others. My mother, who is taking care of herself because she is in the risk group, didn’t travel or anything and after...

Re: Coronavirus Thread

....because this country is a joke when it comes to handling this virus. I suspect differences in reporting cases has much to do with how it appears the US is handling COVID compared to other nations on the planet. This next question tends to make people angry but here goes... Does anyone actually ...

^The article talks about number of people infected based on population. Go here: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/ Click, total cases 1m pop The states at top are still the ones who don't enforce masks, I don't know how you can argue that masks dont help. Even if you say they don...

Re: Coronavirus Thread

I have it, my son has it and now my 89 year old mom has it. migraines, 102 fever, cough, congestion and fatigue. Yes, I wore my mask religiously, rarely went anywhere. If I can get it, anyone can. Don’t know what else I could have done different, only made one trip to Costco the week before symptom...

Re: Coronavirus Thread

If the viral antibodies are no good then a vaccine is useless. Just the way it is. If a mask calms you down then by all means wear one. There is zero evidence that shows they help in any other way. https://www.vox.com/science-and-health/21546014/mask-mandates-coronavirus-covid-19 Masks also change ...

Re: Coronavirus Thread

Well, even if you lose the antibodies it is supposedly less likely that you go down with it the hard way next time. The body beat the bastard once, it will likely know better how to handle it if it ever comes back. I assume your gf is doing better too? ya we both are, still cant go out around other...

Re: Coronavirus Thread

Seem to be over it now but still doing with horrible body aches, hopefully be back to 100% by next Monday.
Sucks to have got it but least I'll have the antibodies for a few months until the vaccine is more readily available.
I'll get tested monday to see if I am still positive.

Re: Coronavirus Thread

It’s literally everywhere now. Some get symptoms, some don’t, some get really sick. Vitamin D levels seem to play a part. Asked a fellow clinician at Pfizer, how long the vaccine is good for? 🙄 get this.., they don’t know. We’re hoping it’s at lest 4 months but there’s been no testing. You mean, I ...

Re: Coronavirus Thread

Think I have it and if i don’t, will soon The last place i stayed overseas was a resort which was super strict with Covid. When you landed you went right to your villa and got tested. Left in villa until negative results come back in 6-12 hours. That was 14th and we were negative. Before we left on ...

^Coaches salaries are horrible when you consider players bring in billions and make a "free education."
Not a fair trade at all but thankfully for CA that is about to change and players will start to be able to use their likeness to make money.

Re: Coronavirus Thread

Wife and I have both had it based upon serology (anti-body) tests. We're surprised and recall only being ill in February...bad colds. The test results came from the Red Cross after we donated blood. Again...it really surprised us. We're a bit relieved to know we've had it. I'm told by my doctor it'...

I stick to weed for most part but dont mind vodka, red bull with a little orange juice in it. Typically I'll only drink at concerts or festivals and the red bull keeps me awake cause I am getting old, lol. Problem for me or good thing is I only need 2-4 drinks and I am good, my tolerance went way do...

We (Italy) are doing a lot of tests daily now, much more than what we was able to in the first wave. Both percentages (positive and recovered) are much lower, asymptomatic is 95% of the positive people. There's people who resulted positive for a second time after being healed. I am a very rational ...

Guessing they will sell their US Operations or the whole company in the next few weeks, doubt they just leave with no deal because it is worth so much money. Either that or they may try to work with Biden campaign to get back into the country if they think he will win but then they are effectively b...
